MUSIC EDUCATOR

 

I have always felt that music educators are musicians as well as educators - upholding music's integrity through musicianship as well as the appropriate pedagogies and theoretical preparations are ALL important and indespensible elements of music teaching. That philosophy in mind, here is where the various components of this online portfolio, my musicianship, and my written work as an educator, all come together. Herein you will find videos of me executing many of the lesson plans posted in this portfolio, as well as reflections done on a great deal of my work at Duquesne in an attempt to better myself as a music educator.
